Silga Stainless Steel Cookware Induction cookware, Cooking, Cookware stand
May 10, 2016 - Teknika, which is 100% made in Italy by Silga, is one of the most practical and beautiful ranges of stainless steel pans in the world. Its functional excellence lies in the 'Teknotherm' heat-diffusing base: a thick, 7mm. layer of aluminum sealed in by a protective casing of stainless steel. This ensures even cooking on all types of heat source and cuts down energy consumption. The construction of the walls gives instant heat right through the body of the pan and together with the 1.5mm. thick, deep seating lids create a pressure cooker type environment to maximize efficiency. The pan rims are gently curved, preventing liquids boiling over as well as allowing pouring of the contents without dripping. These superb pans will give a lifetime's wear. Suitable for all types of cooktops including induction. Unless otherwise stated, lids are supplied separately and are interchangeable for pans throughout the range, thus not making the purchase of unneeded lids necessary.
My daughter-in-law likes this style pan better than the ones with the straight sides.
