The Maverick Hunter knife making kit is an excellent fixed blade knife kit project. It comes in a satin finish, is hollow-ground and made of 440C stainless steel. It also has finger grooves to increase fine cutting control. This hunting knife design has terrific edge holding properties and comes with stainless bolsters and bolster pins. It also features (2) 0.250 inch tang holes for handle construction (stainless steel pinstock included), and includes a pre-drilled 0.275 inch thong hole for optional lanyard treatment. This version of the Maverick Hunter is the combo kit. It comes with the Maverick Hunter blade, bolsters, plus Lacewood handle scales and stainless steel pinstock to simplify the completion process. This is a great project for a weekend knife making session. Spend some quality workshop time with this knife kit and enjoy the fun of custom knife making and customization.
